A record label can provide a community of like-minded label-mates to encourage, support, and assist in the creative process.

Gives Perceived Legitimacy

This might seem intangible or inauthentic, but the truth is perceived legitimacy isn't all vanity. It actually represents something bigger.

For an artist, it represents accountability, community, and affirmation!
